In 2010, a confluence of events in which I believe Lyme Disease which had sat dormant in my body, decided to roar its head. I was quite ill. I basically sat around all day with incredible headaches. My body was shutting down. Scrolling one day on my computer on the Y website, a yoga class popped up. I literally picked myself up out of the chair I was sitting in and headed to class. That class sealed the deal for me. Although I was still on tons of meds, I began to feel better. I gained energy. I wanted more of what yoga could do for me.
"Yoga creates space in the body and clarity in the mind as we twist, turn and breathe; finding openings in poses; building strength; and being okay with "whatever" shows up on the mat on any given day. Yoga help us find balance and awakens our inner strength."
